If this is a dream, please don’t wake me

Wow–I am still pinching myself.

Yesterday was like the kind of daydream you have when you conjure up life’s ultimate moments in fantasy form.

I spent the day,

brainstorming,

with THE Emmy Award Winning Costume Designer,

Randall Christensen.

Yes, I said brainstorming;

actually sharing ideas,

a back and forth confabulation filled with thunderous explosions of brilliance,

leaving us energized and excited about a mutual project that serendipitously brought us together. Now, a day later, I’m rethinking every spectacularly stupid remark I made, and hoping I will be a bit less star struck at our next meeting. With a pile of homework, a future of emails and conference calls, I still can hardly believe I have this remarkable opportunity to work with and learn from this master craftsman and costume genius.

Thank you, Randall and Ken, for sacrificing your Saturday for this collaboration. You are inspiring and generous and I feel blessed to have met and worked with you!
